When a live event goes out to a national or international audience, the connection cannot fail. TITC Africa provides broadcast connectivity for outside broadcasts (OBs), international feeds and live sport, with redundant links designed for each venue. We have supported more than 1,000 national and international streams and broadcasts and provided broadcast connectivity for broadcasters including MultiChoice, SuperSport, the SABC, the BBC and Bloomberg.
MXGP of South Africa 2026. For the FIM Motocross World Championship round at the Terra Topia MX Track near Johannesburg, TITC provided the two main 1 Gbps internet links used for the international broadcast.
Marriott Hotel Melrose Arch, Johannesburg. TITC supplied backup connectivity for Bloomberg’s broadcast from the hotel.
Our event history also includes G20 South Africa 2025, Formula E, the Earthshot Prize and Red Bull events, as well as national and international sport at venues such as FNB Stadium, SuperSport Park and the Sharks stadium in Durban.
Dual redundancy is built into every TITC broadcast solution. Each feed runs over more than one link, with Airfibre failover, so a single failure does not take it off air. As a fibre infrastructure company, we start with fibre wherever possible and design the failover around the site.
Many broadcast events happen far from a building with a server room. TITC has installed fibre at outdoor event sites for internet, broadcast, cameras, security and production services, from motocross and motorsport to festivals. We have delivered events at Killarney Raceway in Cape Town and at Cape Town Stadium and its surrounds.
At some venues the groundwork is already done. TITC has permanent fibre at Montecasino, Tsogo Sun casinos, Sun City, SunBet Arena and The Galleria in Sandton. At the Nombolo Mdhluli Conference Centre in Skukuza, we provide fibre, WiFi and broadcast connectivity, with Airfibre failover. Elsewhere, our team can install quickly at many venues across South Africa.
Alongside full broadcast links, we provide redundant connections for TVU, Teradek, YouTube and Facebook Live (see live streaming connectivity). We also offer broadcast consulting to help production teams plan contribution paths, bandwidth and failover before they arrive on site.
TITC is B-BBEE Level 1 and 100% black women-owned, and operates under Flash Net Systems’ ICASA licences.
